So things seem to be going swimmingly on the technological front, which is a pleasant change of pace.

Meanwhile, one of my biggest goals this summer was to clear out a couple of the rooms up here, and progress has been slow but steady on the room that used to be and will become again *my* room.

The other night/morning, I made a phone post about my participation in gulf_aid_now, but due to a busy couple of days, coupled with some sleep deprivation, I couldn't have been buggered to make a proper post.

I hate my dad's cat. He's the only reason we're keeping her. She pees on things, which have often included my knitting, books, and purses, not to mention pooing on the floor. So, in spirit of this great weather we're having (76 degrees!), I went out and bought myself some new yarn. It's a cotton/acrylic/nylon blend, and it's got a great drape, and it was bought with a spring/summer garment in mind.
